This car was originally registered in 1961 and was purchased by the current owner as a total restoration project. It is based around a standard Ford chassis but is registered as a "Deon Special". The car has been rebuilt a number of times and is still fitted with a standard 1172cc Ford sidevalve engine.

The car was converted to a 2+2 at some stage (although not by Convair, Nordec or TWM) and now has a lockable storage box behind the front seats in the space produced.

It has been used regularly for many years now and has featured in a number of magazine articles. It is in splendid condition.
