This car was
registered as a TWM and had the optional plastic wrap around screens
popular with the racing fraternity at the time. The lower pictures show
it in the original Ivory paint scheme when it belonged to a member of the 750 Motor Club. It passed into the hands
of a Dutch racing driver during 1986 and was raced for sometime. While
in Holland it was repainted Red and can be seen in the top pictures.
However, the regulations regarding engine capacity were changed and it
was not economic to re-engineer the car so it was sold on. It has not been seen
since.
The car was fitted
with a BMC A series engine which was tuned, and had Austin A35 front
suspension, a Morris Minor rear axle and an Austin Healey Sprite
gearbox. This was a superbly detailed car in excellent condition. |
